American Airlines Rule Change Regarding Cancelled Tickets

Last month, American Airlines made a policy change regarding cancelled reservations and unused tickets.  For tickets issued on or after April 2, 2024, travelers with an AAdvantage frequent flyer number, and the number included in the reservation, will have 12 months to use their trip credit. 

All non-AAdvantage members will have only 6 months to user their trip credit.
