Coronavirus Causes Cancellation of Flights & Trains in Wuhan, China

The Chinese government has quarantined the city of Wuhan and has cancelled all flights and trains from the city beginning on Thursday, January 23, 2020.  Additionally, the city has temporarily closed all public transportation – subway, bus and ferry systems.

The first U.S. case was reported yesterday in Washington state, and 5 U.S airports are currently screening incoming passengers from China.  Those airports are: Atlanta, Chicago (ORD), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), and San Francisco.

The major airlines have not issued flight waivers and Travel One will continue to monitor this situation.
