Airline Corporate Loyalty Points May Expire On 12/31/16

This Travel Alert serves as a reminder to check your airline soft-dollar accounts to make sure your company’s points do not expire on December 31, 2016.

As an example, points from the Delta Air Lines SkyBonus® program expire 3 years after the year they were earned.  As such, now is a good time for the administrator of your company’s SkyBonus account to login to the SkyBonus website and determine if there are any points scheduled to expire this year.  We encourage companies to redeem your expiring SkyBonus points for awards before December 31, 2016.  Once redeemed, SkyBonus flight award certificates are valid for one year from the date of issue.

To check the status of your company’s Delta Air Lines’ SkyBonus account, please follow these instructions:

    • Log onto the Delta SkyBonus website: click here
    • Enter your company’s Username and Password, then click on “Submit”
    • Place cursor over the “My SkyBonus” header
    • Click on “Statement”
    • On the right-hand side there is a section called “My Account” that lists the total points available, points earned YTD and the points that will expire at the end of this calendar year.  Also listed are the points that will expire in the next 2 years.

If you do not remember your Username and/or password – or if you need assistance with this process, please contact your Travel One Account Manager.
