Change to Reservation Requirements For Flight Disruptions

Effective June 1, 2019, Travel One will comply with the new IATA Resolution 830d to facilitate a seamless passenger experience when flight disruptions occur.  This new resolution requires each reservation to include the correct contact information for travelers – Travel One’s preference is to include: a) traveler’s mobile phone number (first choice) or b) email address (second choice).

This new standard ensures the traveler has access to relevant and useful information in an operational disruption, and will allow the airline to provide the best experience possible.

Benefits include:

  • Real-time flight updates
  • Pro-active notifications in case of cancellations, delays, etc.
  • Updates related to baggage
  • Automated flight-rebooking information or boarding pass for the next available flights
  • Reduced waiting in line, stress and hassle during flight disruptions
  • Improved customer service

If you have any questions, please contact your Account Manager at Travel One.
