Marriott International is introducing its Series by Marriott brand in the US through a partnership with Hawkins Way Capital. The brand, which launched in May, targets the midscale and upscale lodging segments and aims to expand Marriott’s portfolio with more regionally distinctive properties. Five properties in Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego and Santa Monica, Calif., are slated to be converted to Series by Marriott, marking the brand’s official US debut.
