Travel One General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Statement

Travel One Response to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Travel One is providing the following information regarding our readiness for GDPR.

What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information of individuals within the European Union (EU). It is an overhaul of the current EU data protection law, regulating stricter compliance and increasing the defined scope of personal data.

The GDPR is a regulation, which means it must be followed in its entirety throughout the EU.

Who does the GDPR affect?

The GDPR will affect organizations established in the EU, and all organizations involved in processing personal data of EU citizens. The location of the business or where the processing takes place does not matter and could apply to any organization around the world.

How is Travel One approaching the GDPR readiness?

Travel One is working with each of its vendors where personal information is collected and stored.
